Fall Break at the WILDERNESS

Grandma and Pop Pop and Granny too, came to visit us from Maryland and North Carolina. We decided to try this indoor water park in Pigeon Forge called The Wilderness. The kids had been counting the days for weeks. It was freezing outside so we were glad to be indoors maybe not so glad to be in a swimsuit in the dead of fall and bumping into all kinds of friends from Knoxville. Oh well it is what it is right? This place was amazing! They had 4 huge slides, a wave pool, a boogie board area, a place for bigger kids, and a place for kids that were Baker's size...gated of course. It was perfect! We only stayed 1 night and should have stayed 2. I highly recommend this place if you ever visit the Smokies.

And this is what happens when you have completely exhausted yourself at The Wilderness and you fall asleep in mommy's lap...you get food dropped on your head. Have you ever tried to eat a steak dinner with a BIG kid in your lap? Difficult!

We have a new addition to our family...well my sister's family actually. May I introduce my new niece. Isn't she the prettiest thing you've ever seen? A mini Shirley Temple if you ask me. Hey Kelly, wasn't 2 girls enough? LOL!
