Go Tarheels!!

The kids had a blast tonight watching the UNC basketball game...until we made them go to bed!  Since UT is out, we are now cheering the tarheels on all the way.  Even though I graduated from UT my blood still runs blue (tarheel blue).  I was born in North Carolina and my Dad and Grandad went to UNC.  My whole family is crazy about UNC basketball and we are loving watching them get closer and closer to the NCAA championship.  Go Heels!!
P.S. Tony's blood is still ORANGE!!

Snow Day!

You have to look really really hard and you will see the snow we got a few weeks ago.  My family just loves it when I make them take crazy pictures like going out in the freezing cold.  It was Baker's first snow what do they expect...I just had to get a picture of him.

It's Baseball & Softball time in Tennessee

Taylor and Mason had their first practices the other week.  Taylor is playing softball for the 1st time and Mason is playing baseball for the 2nd year.  Taylor loves it and wishes she could practice everyday...Mason, however, is still trying to get the hang of it.  Not sure this game is fast enough for him.  And anyone who knows Mason knows what I am talking about.

The next Donald Trump....

Looks like Baker is ready to take over Cosey Financial Services any day now!

Just playing around

These are pictures I took of Taylor one day (on a very cold day...what a trooper she was).  I just recently got a new camera and I am still learning how to use it.

Patriotic Day

Taylor had a Patriotic Day parade at school.  I bought the kids t-shirts to decorate and this is how they turned out.  They are so excited because now they have t-shirts to wear for July 4th!!

Valentine's Day

Awanas Circus Night

Our church had circus night at Awanas where you could dress up as anything from the circus if you wanted to.  Taylor chose to be a tiger and Mason of course is the Ringmaster!!  Taylor was 1st place for he 2nd year in a row...actually now that I think about it, maybe it's the 3rd.  she won her favorite thing in the world... CANDY!!

Baby Bennett is here!!!

Well ok so he has been here.  He was born on February 9, 2008.  Exactly the date that I chose.  Sorry Kelly just had to rub that in.  He is so cute and looks so much like a Jelks it's not even funny.  And look at his feet.  I couldn't resist posting this picture of his foot.  I have never seen a newborn with feet this big!  Oh so cute though!  Congrats sis!!  I am so excited to have our boys only 3 months apart and growing up together.

Nativity Play

Ok this was just too cute not to share.  Taylor and Mason's cousins came over to play while their mommy went to the hospital (thought it was time to have the baby).  Whenever they come over they always play dress up.  Not sure who came up with the idea but they put together a whole Nativity play including yours truly Baker as Baby Jesus with wagon and all.  Taylor was the narrator, Madden was the angel, Mason was Joseph and Ally was Mary.  Very very creative play.  Baker loved being pulled around in the wagon....the donkey was busy so we couldn't use him ha/ha!
