DOUBLE slip-n-slide fun!

BIG playdate!

After playing tennis today we invited Collin and Parker over to play.  They swam in the hot tub, played on the swingset and played in the sand.  The boys had a blast together!  They have not seen each other since school.  Taylor also had a couple of friends over to play.  These girls have been her Best Friends for a very long time!  We were really glad to have them over too because they don't go to Taylor's school so we don't see them as much as we would like.  McKenzie (our babysitter) brought Miranda over and her brother Chandler decided to come along too.  Call me crazy but at one point today I had 9 kids at my house playing and I even managed to get dinner cooked at a reasonable hour.  It was a great day spent with friends!

Memorial Weekend

We were so excited to have Tony's brother and his family come in town this weekend from Atlanta.  We spent the weekend on the boat skiing and tubing and hanging out with friends.  It was Baker's first time and he ABSOLUTELY loved it!!  We were out there each day for about 7 or 8 hours and he didn't cry one time.  He loved the rocking of the boat which put him to sleep many many times during the day.   I am so glad he loved boating since it is our families passion during the summer.  Hope everyone else had a memorable weekend as well.

We bought Baker a new swing and he really really likes it a lot!! I am so glad I have one more place to put him.  I get really tired of holding a 20 pound 6 month old all day long.

"GREEN BEANS ARE #1"

Our family decided Baker needed a new challenge tonight, so we gave him green beans for the first time and he loved it!!!  I have been giving him cereal for 2 months now with no luck.  I have tried rice and oatmeal with and without fruit.  Anything just to get him to eat it without a fight.  Glad we finally found something he will eat besides his milk.

How cute is this luggage tag that Taylor made me in her class?  She even wrote me a note on the back of it.  I will cherish this always!

In case you can't read it...Taylor wrote, "I love my mom because she is there for me when I need her.  And also because she cares and loves me."    

And boy oh boy look what else Taylor gave me.  A card with coupons on it like fold the laundry, vacuum, set the table, and dust.  Can't wait to cash in on these!!!!

I was invited by Taylor to join her at school for Moms and Munchies today to celebrate Mother's Day.  Mrs. Kohlbusch had cupcakes, a veggie tray, apples with a wonderful caramel dip, and of course some big delicious strawberries...yum yum my favorite!  

Baker is 6 months old today and SITTING UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this cup to start practicing with since we have been practicing with the whole cereal thing and still can't quite get it.  I thought I might try and get a head start on things.

When I went to kiss Taylor goodnight before I went to bed this is how I found her.  The next morning I asked her, "Why did you have that blanket on your head?''.  She said, "because it was freezing in my room last night."  Too funny.  I wonder how long she actually slept like this.

This afternoon I picked Mason up from school early and we met my friend April and her son Taylor, as well as Mimi and Reagan from school.  They all had a blast playing with the dump trucks.  These girls definitely didn't mind getting dirty!
