Just playing in the rain!!

I just wanted to share some pictures I received from my friend Cindy (pictured below).

These were taken on a rainy fall day in November. Cindy is the best mom ever. Who would actually let their kids play in the rain and roll around in the leaves? Cindy does!! Taylor loves playing at her best friend Miranda's house for reasons like this.

Taylor and Mason had Crazy hair night at church last night.

And the winner is.........Taylor!! She was so excited to win BEST crazy hair last night. I spent $10 on colored hair spray and she won a .75 candy bar....go figure. At least she was happy and excited. They don't judge Mason's age but if they did I would certainly think that he would have won as well. I think they are so cute and actually look like THING 1 and THING 2 from

I know I am really behind on updating my blog for Christmas but we have been so so busy and we have had computer problems as well. We hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas and are now having a great New Year! We wish you all the very best in 2007!

Gumpdaddy, Midori, Scott and Nana. It was great to see Scott and Midori who flew in from Japan. Scott got some time off from the Navy to spend in the States. We miss you guys!

Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kwanzaa in hopes to sell books by Franken & Fonda. As Targets were hanging their trees upside down. At Lowe's the word Christmas - was no where to be found. At K-Mart and Staples and Penny's and Sears you won't hear the word Christmas; it won't touch your ears. Inclusive, sensitive, Di-ver-is-ty are words that were used to intimidate me. Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen on Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton! At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter to eliminate Jesus, in all public matter. And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith forbidden to speak of salvation and grace. The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded, the reason for the season, stopped before it started. So as you celebrate "Winter Break" under your "Dream Tree" Sipping your Starbucks, listen to me. Choose your words carefully, choose what you say Shout MERRY CHRISTMAS, not Happy Holiday!

May the Christmas presents remind you of God's greatest gift --- His only begotten Son.

May the Christmas candles remind you of Him who is the --- Light of the world.
May the Christmas tree remind you of another tree on which --- He died for you.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. We traveled to Baltimore, Maryland to see Grandma and Pop Pop. We were very busy and did a lot of sight seeing.

After going to the Washington Zoo with Grandma, Pop Pop, Uncle Paul and Alexa we went to this Mexican restaurant around the corner from Alexa's house in Washington
